The Pennines - Fine Art Print

Photographed during the 2026 Montane Winter Spine Race while travelling between checkpoints on the Pennine Way, this image captures the vastness and quiet beauty of England’s backbone. A small cluster of trees sits alone beneath an expansive winter sky, reminding us just how insignificant we become in a landscape that has tested runners, walkers and adventurers for generations.

The Pennines are more than a backdrop to the Spine Race—they are a constant presence. Beautiful yet unforgiving, they shape every step, every decision and every story. Sometimes the landscape says everything without the need for a single person in the frame.

Each print is produced in my Dorset studio using a Canon PIXMA PRO professional printer on your choice of Canon Premium Matte paper or Canon Pro Platinum Gloss paper. Every print is individually signed, carefully inspected and packaged to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
